My idea:
My trailer will follow the journey of a teenage girl learning to cope with the death of her boyfriend, surrounding herself with friends who tell her its time she got back out there and finds someone new. This is where the cliche turns around. She visits her boyfriends memorial bench every week and leaves him a note, one day she finds someone sat there, as the two speak the protagonist begins to see who appears to be her dead boyfriend walking past them but he vanishes before she can get her head around what she has just seen.
as time goes on, she begins to see her dead boyfriend more frequently, and it begins to become clear that he is not a guardian angel there to protect her. She meets the guy from the bench for a coffee date and she sees him walk past them again. this time she follows. Finding herself on a quiet back street he appears to her again and embraces her. He manipulates her thoughts about how she really felt about him to guilt her into not seeing other people, and controls her actions by playing the devil sat on her shoulder. Until one day she snaps.
Magazine ideas:
Create your own user feedback surveyFor my magazine I wanted my audience to influence what I create. So the design of my magazine will be based on what my audience want to see.
Poster ideas and inspirations:
For my poster, I want my audience to be enticed by my characters and the relationship between them. I also want to tease my audience away from the psychological thriller genre through the poster similar to the way in which the Deadpool poster teased towards a romantic genre instead of the superhero genre. I feel that if I tease my film in a similar way I may attract a wider audience to it.

I plan on featuring my main two characters on my poster, creating and effect which looks like multiple photos of the two together piled on top of each other, creating the romantic ideas of the couple but also portraying the theme of memories which will tease the idea of the death of the characters boyfriend.

Trailer ideas and inspirations:
Shutter Island
I found inspiration within the trailer for Scorsese's Shutter Island (2010) with the use of split second shots which appear as flashbacks of the protagonists family. the quick appearances adding to the fast pace of the trailer creates suspense within the audience. I may use fast cuts while editing my trailer to create the tension surrounding the narrative climax of my story. The Gift
Within this trailer all on screen text is saved until towards the end of the trailer to help effectively build suspense within the trailer. I may take inspiration from this trailer and try to keep my on screen text to a minimal within my trailer and find a moment in my trailer where I can effectively build the most suspense with the combination of on screen text and filmed footage.
